Emily and William were married just a few weeks ago in the great state of Mississippi. Although I’m from Mississippi and lived there most of my life – I do believe this was the first time I had ever been to Columbia! The weather was supposed to be rainy, and as you can see from the first photo – the Lord had other plans! I’m always more than thankful for a good-weather wedding day and surely enough – the weather was perfect for Emily and William’s first day as husband and wife.
One of my favorite parts of the day (as you can tell) were the beautiful old oak trees outside of Emily’s church. Oh. My. Goodness. I just wish I could take those wherever I go. Another favorite of the day was that Emily had planned a few more photos for the couple once we got to the reception site. I just love when we get to take advantage of the dusk lighting for our last few husband and wife photos!
Thank y’all for entrusting us with your wedding day! I hope you had a fabulous honeymoon and that these photos will be such sweet memories while William is away! (FYI: He works in Dubai! I don’t see how Emily does it!) I hope y’all are on the same side of the ocean soon!!
