Hi there! Welcome to the blog. It's the history of our time with couples and families during the days that they will one day treasure as the days that mattered most..

Hi, I'm REBECCA.

Kelly & Chap | A Small Town Southern Wedding

“Oh my gosh they’re SO adorable!” – That’s pretty much what I said the whole way through editing Kelly and Chap’s photos. These two are as precious as they come and I’m so glad to have been a part of their sweet day! We photographed her sister’s wedding two years ago and I loved getting to see so many familiar faces. Kelly was the perfect bride all day and had that huge smile on her face even through a few happy tears here and there. I must warn you, there are tons of tear jerking father-daughter moments throughout these photos! Kelly wanted to have a “first look” with her dad (Now THAT’S a great way to get the tears flowing for all of us…) and my most favorite moment was during the father-daughter dance at the reception. Oh. My. Goodness. Andy made a mix of their requested song with an overlay of some audio from when Kelly and Emily were little and talking with their daddy. You can see a few reactions to this sweet moment below : ) Another new favorite from this wedding was the mix of bubbles and sparklers! Such a lovely combo.
Kelly and Chap, I hope you have a beautifully joy-filled marriage! Brett and I loved being there for your first day as husband and wife. We had so much FUN with you two and your sweet laughs along with your fabulous and beautiful wedding party.
^ Such a funny moment that made for the perfect mother-daughter getting ready photo!^ I love that Kelly’s “something blue” was her grandmother’s garter! ^ Let the tears begin… the father-daughter first look!^ This was the house that Chap grew up in. So adorable! ^ Silhouettes with stained glass… * happy sigh * ^ Sweet prayers before the ceremony^ Dad knows better than to let Kelly dwell on those tears too much : ) Love this laugh!^ I tell you what. When you mix childhood audio with a sweet father-daughter dance, it’s guaranteed to get some tears!^ Pretty much the best-ever reaction to catching the bouquet… there’s more photos where that came from ; ) ^ An old blue Ford – the perfect getaway vehicle for their sweet southern wedding!^ Sparklers and bubbles!! It doesn’t get better.^ Congrats y’all!!
