Hi there! Welcome to the blog. It's the history of our time with couples and families during the days that they will one day treasure as the days that mattered most..

Hi, I'm REBECCA.

Laura | A Stunning Mississippi Bride

January 11, 2013

Filed in: Bridals

Back to the blog! For those of you that have been feverishly checking the blog to see when your photos or those of your sweet friends are going to be up – I apologize! Over the last 3ish weeks, Brett and I have added a puppy to our little family, shot two wonderful weddings and several engagement sessions, visited family across three states,  had both of our birthdays, and experienced the general craziness of Christmas and the new year sneaking up on us once again. We’re excited about the year ahead and thrilled that our 2013 wedding calendar is literally full. FULL. I’m in awe and humbled. Once again, thank you for your grace in being patient with me as we’re transitioning into this new year and working hard to serve our sweet couples – past and future.
Now, on to this sweet Mississippi bride!
I don’t think there is a way Laura could have been a more perfect bride. I absolutely loved getting to have three photo experiences with lovely Laura and I’m so excited to share these photos on the blog! We started our fun with Corey and Laura’s engagement session where they just laughed and giggled the whole way through. Our next stop was the bridal session that took place two weeks before Laura and Corey’s big day. Lastly, of course, was their sweet southern wedding! I plan to have that beauty up on the blog this weekend! Every detail about Laura’s look for the wedding day was just perfect and perfectly her. The long veil, classic jewelry, and lace dress were so elegant and timeless. I thought it was fitting to incorporate so many southern elements into our bridal session – a pecan orchard, a weeping willow tree, and a cotton field. The only thing we were missing was sweet tea : )
