Hi there! Welcome to the blog. It's the history of our time with couples and families during the days that they will one day treasure as the days that mattered most..

Hi, I'm REBECCA.

Lianne & Alex | A New Albany, Mississippi Wedding

Filed in: Wedding

Congrats to Lianne and Alex on a fabulous wedding day! These two have been dating since high school and after so many years, their big day has finally come. It was a beautiful wedding with fabulous details and lovely venues. Lianne grew up in this church and I absolutely loved the stained glass windows.
My favorite part of their day was during the first look (big surprise, right?). It was just so sweet! You can see the progression below… but what was happening was just precious. Before Lianne came in to the sanctuary, Alex was looking a little nervous. Then you can see he hears her enter the room and slowly gets a little crooked grin. Once he hears her dress swishing faster towards him – he can’t contain his excitement and is already grinning in anticipation of seeing his bride. So adorable! I just love being a part of these sweet moments.
I also really loved their exit photos! Brett actually took the first two shown on here, and the one on the right is definitely one of my favorites. So glad to have my husband as my second shooter… and a good one at that!
So, back to the wedding. The reception weather was fabulous and was held outdoors at the lovely Concord Inn, in New Albany, Mississippi. The Sam Mosley Band was great and the cake was most definitely the best wedding cake we have ever had (Brett agreed), and we’ve had our share of wedding cakes : ) Fabulous job by Cakes by Rita! Nichols Catering was in charge of the delicious catering and French’s Flowers had lovely details everywhere throughout the day. Lianne’s gown and  bridesmaids dresses were from Kay’s Kreations, job well done on choosing those Lianne! We also were able to work alongside Brian Flint of Films by Flint to document the beautiful day. So many great vendors to work with! Love it when it all comes together so perfectly.
And now the moment we’ve all been waiting for…

^ We have a tiny little camera we’ve been setting up to attempt fun * discreet * shots from the front when churches only allow us at the back during the ceremony. It’s usually hit or miss if we can get anything since it is unmanned, but this time we ended up getting a cute shot of these two stealing a quick glance! Love : ) Concord Inn^ This makes me laugh every time I see it.
