It’s wedding week for these two! It seems like not very long ago that her mom (secretly) set up a meeting with me shortly after James popped the question! I remember sitting in Panera with Martha Claire, her just acquired husband-to-be, and parents as I got to hear all about James’ thoughtful and precious proposal and all of the planning that was about to happen. It was so fun to be a there for the very beginning of this engagement story! I loved getting to know this sweet couple that day, and even more-so when we had our engagement session at their favorite place – Samford University. Of course, that is where these two met and fell in love. They even have “their” bench on campus, so of course we had to stop there for some photos during our sweet time together. I think one of my favorite parts of our session was getting to meet their adorable puppy! She only popped in a few photos, but that was enough for us to see how fun and cute she is! I mean… look at those awesome puppy eyes? Okay… so I’m definitely a fan of the pups, as we all know.
It’s always wonderful being back on Samford’s campus after photographing for them for several years. It’s such a beautiful campus and I have some fun memories there for sure. I can’t wait to see how gorgeous Martha Claire and James’ wedding will be this weekend. I know they’ve worked so hard to make this the perfect beginning of their marriage and I am honored to be there to document the amazing mystery of two becoming one in a God-filled marriage.
