Okay, back to blogging! Side note: I tallied up our sessions and weddings a few weeks back when I realized all I was doing was keeping baby Laurel alive, editing, and eating occasionally. (Do you see how sleep wasn’t mentioned? Yeah…okay… I did sleep… but wow what a few months we had there!) What I found was shocking even to me. We did the same number of weddings and sessions in the 7 weeks before Thanksgiving as we did in the first 6 months of last year. Honestly, I don’t even know how we did it. But the awesome thing is, we really had such a wonderful 7 weeks full of really cool and kind clients. For that, I am beyond grateful. So, in case you contacted me during those times or saw me out in public looking … different… now we all know why.
Now my friends. Back to our regularly scheduled blog posts and a pretty amazing wedding to start back blogging with! Seriously. These colors and pretty much everything else you see here are to die for. Ohhhh the goodness…
I’m so excited to get this fabulous wedding on the blog! Shannon and Sam are just precious and I’m so thankful to have been a part of their wedding day. Shannon was just the most bubbly and beautiful bride with Sam being the perfect compliment of a gentle and kind spirit – both filled with joy. No… really. They are. During the engagement session and their wedding day, these two just kept each other laughing the whole time. So many cute faces and whispers!
It was our first time shooting at the lovely Cove Acre Farms! What a fabulous venue. Really, this day was full of some of my favorite vendors. Friends, if you’re looking for a rock star wedding line up, just visit the credits below and make some calls ; ) It really was a smooth day and I believe we could say fun was had by all. A few of my favorite things from the day would have to be Shannon’s awesome dress, (The train is detachable. And gorgeous. Yes, please.) Sam’s shoes, (way to go Sam) the gorgeous and unique fall colors in the florals, and that window at the back of the barn. I just love windows.
Well friends, this post is long enough. Get to looking! So much vendor goodness right here. Lillies florals, I do, Ido! Wedding Coordinating ladies, and the fabulous Emily Summerville. Thanks for loving what you do ladies.
