Once upon an afternoon, back in the days of 7th grade – I met Lisa in the car line at school. So, we’ve known one another for a good 12 years or so. That’s half of my life?! Crazy. Well, we were instant friends because I didn’t have to look down to talk to her. We’re both 5’10” and have been… since at least 7th grade. I’m sure our first conversation started something like, “Well, where do YOU get your jeans?.” Thankfully, we’ve come a long way since then and both have rejoiced in the fact that boys do eventually grow.
Lisa and Brandon met through… drum roll please… a dating website!! I have known several great couples that have met (and eventually married) after being introduced through the world wide web. He was actually the first (and last) person she talked to on the site, so I’d say her match was pretty accurate. The best thing about their story is that Brandon lived just down the road. Literally. They’ve been 20 minutes apart for a few years now and even had mutual friends. God knows what He’s doing…
Since we’re in Birmingham, their engagement session was the first time I got to meet Lisa’s future hubby and I must say, they go quite well together. He kept her laughing and seemed to compliment her in the best ways. I LOVE when couples make each other laugh through our whole session. They were even willing to stick around through the dark and experiment with us and some different lighting.
Thanks for coming to Bham y’all! Looking forward to March : )
