Hi there! Welcome to the blog. It's the history of our time with couples and families during the days that they will one day treasure as the days that mattered most..

Hi, I'm REBECCA.

Miranda & Drew | A Mississippi State University Wedding

It’s here!! Finally! Miranda and Drew have been patiently waiting for their sweet wedding day preview and I’m so glad to have it here for the world to see! Miranda and I were in Graphic Design together at MSU and I’m so thankful to have been a part of their wedding day. SO much careful planning went into their lovely wedding and Miranda did a fabulous job of focusing on the things that were most important to her. I loved how she wanted to schedule extra time for couple photos and their first look. Each part of their day seemed to hold so much meaning to this sweet couple and I really feel they accomplished a rather difficult task – truly enjoying and savoring each moment of their day. We had many chats and emails about how to get the most out of their day and I must say, it paid off beautifully – photographically and strategically. I so appreciate being able to be so involved in the wedding day scheduling! As you can see, a careful schedule allows for so many sweet moments to comfortably take place.
One of my favorite captures of the day was when Miranda had planned to have a “first look” with her dad. It was a special moment and such a thoughtful addition to her wedding day experience. One of the many other thoughtful and precious experiences Drew and Miranda shared was their gift exchange and private vow readings. They chose to write personal vows that would only be shared with each other during their first look and to exchange more traditional vows during the ceremony. What a fun idea! Not to mention a great opportunity to capture some tears during their first look ; )
I hope y’all enjoy their contagious smiles and all of Miranda’s crafty details! You two were fabulous (along with your awesome wedding party) and I certainly loved having an MSU Art Department mini-reunion!!
