You may remember these adorable faces from last year when they were a family of 5. These sweet parents have been our small group leaders at church and we were able to journey with them as they followed their heart to adopt their sweet baby girl. I loved learning even more about adoption through their story and I’m so excited that they’re a complete family now! These two have been called to pastor a church in another part of Alabama, so we certainly miss them but are so thankful for the time we had with such a fabulous mentor couple leading our small group. I enjoyed getting to photograph them last year and I was thankful when a fellow small group member asked if they could gift a session to the family after their adoption was complete – I enthusiastically said YES! I loved being a part of their family story, from seeing that their photos from last year were hung in baby girl’s crib before they were able to travel and meet her, to having their first family photoshoot as a family of 6 – that’s what I love about my job. Documenting life! ^ Perhaps one of my favorite from our session. It’s more true to life with a family of 6 I would think : ) ^ I mean really, how much more perfect could they be?^ Yet again… those funny moments and memorable laughs are what I like to capture. ^The difference between girls and boys…
