You’ve seen Megan and Brad’s rainy engagements and Megan’s cold and wet bridals, now it’s time for their fabulously perfect and sunny wedding day! Like Megan said, if we had to choose one of our sessions to have perfect weather – this one would be it. I was so thankful (as I know they were!) that the weather was absolutely perfect for their lakeside wedding.
Megan had planned every last detail perfectly. There were so many DIY and personal additions everywhere you looked. I think my favorite detail was the awesome sign out on the porch with her new last name! It definitely made for a fun photo prop ; ) I also really loved how they used the photos from their engagement session in their guest sign-in book. Such a perfect way to have a sign-in book you’ll actually look at and enjoy having out in your home. As you can see, being a fireman is near and dear to Brad’s heart, so of course those details couldn’t be forgotten! It was our first firetruck leave and I’d say it was a success!
I hope you two had a marvelous honeymoon and are getting settled as husband and wife! Thanks for letting us share your day with you and for all of your sweet gratefulness throughout all of our shoots!
^ I’m such a fan of gold bridal shoes!^ The Bridesmaid “first look” is always a fun moment! ^ A fabulous re-creation of the movie “Bridesmaids” cover^ We were in good hands as far as fire safety goes for the day… ^ The “no look” as we’ve started to call it! Sweet faces : ) ^ Their engagement photo sign in book was perfect! I would love to have done this for our wedding!^ A little sparkler fun anyone?! This reminded me of my final photo project from my digital photography class… good times, good times.
Side note: I’m not sure how but during my running around in the dark, one of the 3 foot sparklers I was waving around cut underneath my eye?! Only I would find a way to draw blood with sparklers. Lots of thankfulness it wasn’t actually my eye though! Always thankful for the Lord’s protection – even with sparklers…
