Oh Sloane and Matt! What a perfect session we were able to have with y’all! (At least we would like to think so!) We’ve been so excited about working with Sloane and Matt for probably almost a year now. As you can see, these two are beautiful and their Tennessee wedding in MAY will be no different. You see, I put stress on the month of May because we were planning on being by her side to document this wedding fabulousness on May 10th of this year. However, I have a delightful little life being created that is scheduled to make an appearance around May 15th of this year.  Traveling 8+ hours to a wedding in Tennessee while being 5 days from my due date just wasn’t going to be an option. I’m pretty sure our May brides found out we were pregnant before anyone else did… even family. After a little while of hoping to start a family – I think we were as surprised as anyone else. Thankfully, I have the best clients (That I constantly pray God leads just the right ones to us!) and my May brides were more than kind and understanding. You have no idea how blessed I was by their understanding.
I’m so glad that these two were willing to have an engagement session with us to allow us to say thank you for choosing us and for your kindness. I cried when I received Sloane’s response to the news that we were expecting (practically on her wedding date), “After reading your email I was immediately reminded of Romans 8:28 ‘And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.’” We were so concerned about what to do and how to handle our weddings that were already booked around that time, but thankfully, God had a plan all along and Sloane has a wonderful photographer that will be with her on her wedding day while we’re waiting for a little one to arrive or already learning how to be parents.

Sloane and Matt, thank you for your kindness and understanding. Thank you for driving all the way to Birmingham for an engagement session with us! And of course, thanks for being super cute together with fabulous outfits and fun ideas ; ) I can’t wait to see your beautiful wedding day!
