Here it is! I’m so excited to be getting caught up and finally putting some of these fabulous January weddings on the blog! Cara and Brad are one of the most kind and gracious of couples. I think their first look has to be one of my most favorites. Brad pretty much gave the reaction that every bride has ever hoped for – sweet tears and a huge joy-filled smile. I also enjoyed getting to be back at Samford’s campus for their wedding – fun memories from working there when we first moved to Birmingham! I always love shooting at Reid Chapel, and the Vestavia Country Club provided the perfect reception venue for these two. We got to the reception right at sunset, so I was able to steal away for just a few minutes to capture the Mr. and Mrs. in their first moments as husband and wife. Those parts of the day are my absolute favorite!
