Y’all. I’ve stopped even trying to narrow down my wedding posts. It used to take me forever to try and narrow down to the just right number of images for the blog and taking out some so we don’t have too many, blah blah blah. I give up. More is merrier, right?!?
Katie and Austin. Where to begin. I knew we would have a wonderful day from the first time I met Katie at our initial consult. She’s organized, yet easy going. These two things came into play when the wedding day looked to be drizzly all day. Katie stepped up with a smile to just embrace the day and enjoy it as it was. As I always say, anyone can get married on a sunny day, but it takes a special bride to love and accept a rainy wedding day. We dodged in and out of rain all day and these two couldn’t have been better about it. They even humored me and went outside in the cold and wet for a few photos at the lovely greens at Vestavia Country Club. Those photos are always my favorites!
These two, and their families and wedding party, made us feel like we were just as much a part of the day as they were. We were loved and taken care of all day, and that’s always something special!
