Ah the lovliness of this wedding. The day started out dreary with rain sprinkles and clouds. This led us to change the first look plans. But as the Lord so often allows, plan “B” became the best option of all. We had Caleigh and Tyler’s first look on the private balcony of the room where she was getting ready and it could have been more intimate or lovely. One of the few moments on a wedding day where I’m thankful for the rain ; )
I loved all of Caleigh’s venues. The day just went together so well. They started the day getting ready at the Tutwiler, followed by a sweet ceremony at Southside Baptist Church, with the reception being held at The Florentine downtown – which is easily one of my new favorite venues. I think one of my favorite details from the day had to be Caleigh’s dress. It was so unique and so her! It was the perfect mix of a full gown and a fitted gown – all in one. You’ll just have to see it to love it as much as I do!
Caleigh wanted lots of time for photos (swoon) and we certainly found ways and places to use every minute to make these gorgeous images. Yet again, taking just 5 minutes around sunset proved to be my favorite part of the day. We stopped on a bridge overlooking downtown and just let the magic unfold. The only time the sun popped out that day – and it was perfect!
Go enjoy their fabulous wedding and wish them a happy ONE month today! Thank y’all again for having us with you as you became Mr. and Mrs. Hart! I hope the first month has been filled with precious memories together!
