What a joy it was to be with this sweet family again! Almost two years ago, we photographed Laura’s brother’s wedding (Emily & Trevor) and I was thrilled when Trevor’s mom contacted us about photographing Laura’s wedding. Laura has to be one of the most laid back brides – all day she was full of genuine smiles, witty laughs, and a sweet spirit.
One of my favorite details for Laura’s day had to have been her florals from HotHouse Design Studio. There were perfect flowers everywhere! Nothing over the top or too distracting from the beauty of the day itself, but so many lovely flowers everywhere you look that you just kept saying, “Oh! That’s lovely!” every time you turned around. It was also so wonderful to work alongside Ashley with I do, I do Weddings, B&A Warehouse, and the band Nationwide Coverage! All of which are on my recommended vendors list for a reason. Basically, Laura, her sweet mom, and Ashley pulled together a team that set her details up for success, that’s for sure.
Watching Laura and Jay whisper to each other, laugh about everything together, and just enjoy being in each others presence was the best part of the day. When all the details fade away, enjoying your spouse is what will keep you going decades from now. It’s such a joy to be a part of watching two souls become one and being a witness to how the Lord writes each story with special details and tender care : ) Thank you again for having me by your side to capture these moments… and a few hundred more that you’ll be seeing in your gallery very soon!
