For a while I feel like I was seeing Meagan and Jed every week! Shortly before their lovely wedding, we were able to have an engagement session, followed by her bridal session just two weeks later, and the wedding shortly after that – hah! It’s bittersweet when we get to see couples all the time and go through these amazing life-changing days with them and then it’s all over! Maybe everyone needs to get anniversary sessions ; )
Like every love story that God weaves together, Meagan and Jed’s was wonderfully perfect for them. I love how it was unexpected and sweet at the same time. They were neighbors in college and Jed knew what he wanted – her. Meagan on the other hand was slow to fall for Jed, but as a real gentleman would, Jed pursued her well and let her know she wasn’t going to get away easy. Their love blossomed over a conveniently flat tire that Jed was able to come to the rescue to help Meagan with. And what normally happens after you help with a flat tire? You start dating and get married, of course.
So here we are on this glorious day in May with the most lovely weather, great venues, and joy-filled hearts watching these two become one. As usual, one of my favorite parts of the day was having Meagan and Jed come back after their formal exit for a few more couple photos. I love that time when receptions end in the daylight and we can have this super relaxed and sweet time of having fun for the last time on your first day as husband and wife. I just love those moments!
Now go enjoy them for yourself. Thank you Meagan and Jed for having us along for all of the fun!
