Getting caught up on blogging from our crazy moving time last year!
Cathleen and Blake were a joy to work with. All day these two were more concerned about everyone else around them and being sure they were taken care of. We certainly felt loved and like part of the family. Cathleen’s mom almost brought me to to tears with a simple and sincere “thank you” at the end of the night. She was asking questions about Laurel and said, “Here you are spending your day away from your little girl so you can photograph mine. That is so special. We really appreciate you being here. Thank you.” — Talk about making my heart warm.
I think my favorite part of the day was going with the couple out to the lake at sunset. There’s just something special about that time of day and the fact that the sun is going down on a day you’ve been waiting and planning and hoping for most of your life. Not to mention the light is perfect during that time, but it’s a bitersweet time that makes for sweet and relaxed photos. I love it!
Cathleen and Blake, y’all were a blessing to us and I’m so glad we got to know y’all on your journey to becoming husband and wife! I hope you enjoy this little flashback on the blog today! ; )
