Oh Shelby and Colin! What an adorable duo. Wet met for the first time near Auburn, where their relationship started and grew. I love being able to get a glimpse into how couples work together and to hear their story at our engagement sessions. It was a cold day here in Alabama, but these guys were dedicated and just so sweet together – it made us look forward to their wedding day even more.
Surely enough, the wedding day was as relaxed and lovely as I assumed it would be (Also thanks to Ann Marie for being their laid back and sweet planner!) Shelby was a portrait of grace and kindness and Colin was a gentle and loving groom ready to become a husband to this girl he’d fallen for so deeply. If I could choose one word for their day it would simply be “sweet.” Literally every detail, every look, every word and deed just had a sweetness to it. It was a day of kindness, genuine love, and so much anticipation for these two to leave with the same last name. It was a joyful day and the perfect setting for the relaxed love of Shelby and Colin.
Thanks y’all for having us with you on your wedding day! I hope you enjoy this over-a-year-ago flashback and that year one of marriage has been a treat for y’all.
