Catherine and Brandon are nothing but a joy to be around. Brett and I loved working with these two for their beautiful, winter wedding and felt right at home with these adorable people. The weather could not have been more perfect for their first day as husband and wife! It was 70 degrees and sunny on a clear, January day in Alabama! It truly doesn’t get any better than that.
One of my favorite moments from the day was when the ceremony was over and the wedding party was headed to the reception. Catherine stopped, turned around, and said, “I want to go hug my dad.” Of course Daddy and daughter shared a sweet moment and both were left in tears, which got those watching a little watery as well. Now that we have little Laurel we’re even more terrified of the moment Daddy gives her away one day. Good job Mr. Charlie, you made it through the day and your Bronco should smell fabulous with all that lavender in it ; )
Another favorite detail from the day was Catherine’s choice in colors for the bridesmaids and flower girl dresses! I just love the mixed hues of similar colors with dresses of similar, but not completely matching, styles! Such a perfect way to add just a hit of fun to the wedding party look.
We loved this day with so many great vendors and precious family and friends. Y’all go enjoy it through photos!
