Leah and Steven were married at the lovely Rancho De Las Aguillas here in Birmingham and I loved being somewhere new, but local! We actually found out that they will no longer be taking weddings after this month, so it was our first, last, and most wonderful event there ; )
These two were a bit anxious, as most everyone is, at the start of the day. But once they laid eyes on each other, they were so thrilled to be going through their wedding day together. The craziest part of Leah and Steven’s wedding was the *weather.* I actually took a screen shot of the radar because it was so impressive around the ceremony time. We ALL wanted a beautiful outdoor ceremony for Leah! The Lord provided for sure. There were all sorts of colors JUST on either side of us leading up to, and through, the ceremony. But not a drop was had while these two were promising each other forever. It was amazing! The rain finally came again at the reception, but all was well by then and everyone was able to stay dry!
I feel like the threat of rain on the wedding day brings out true colors in every bride, and Leah, you handled it quite gracefully! You were a beautiful bride and I’m so glad that y’all are Mr. and Mrs. Mizzell – forever. Thank you for having us with you for your wedding day! I hope you enjoy re-living each of these moments!
