Brett has been hoping for rain for several weeks now. Thankfully, grass in Birmingham was given a little refreshment this evening.
We went out to eat with friends in Homewood this evening and Brett asked if I wanted to stop to try and get some lightning shots on our way home. My gear was still in the car from my afternoon of shooting, so we were all prepared for a photo op! I’m glad we stopped. We had fun just watching such a beautiful show and enjoying the summery evening breeze. We experimented a little and although I’ve never done much research on how to capture lightning, I think we were able to capture a few fun shots. God does such neat things… to say the least.
