I can’t remember when I first met Emily. I’m pretty sure it had to have been in middle school? She was a year ahead of me in school when we both lived in Brandon, MS and I do know that I have always remembered Emily as a beautiful, sweet and fun-loving person. I was excited to meet with Emily and Cameron many months back to discuss us shooting their wedding. In the first few minutes of our meeting, it was obvious that Emily had not changed much (still sweet, fun, and beautiful!) and that she had found her match in Cameron. It is evident that they just want to serve and love one another and Brett and I so enjoyed working with them.
It’s always fun to go back “home” to shoot weddings and people that I grew up with. Emily and Cameron’s wedding was even more fun because they are MSU grads! It was rather crazy to see my two worlds collide. There were so many high school faces mixed in with some fabulous MSU friends and I was able to do a little catching up here and there.
I think my favorite part about Emily and Cameron’s wedding day was their “first look.” You can see below that Cameron by far has won the ” best groom’s face of the year” award. He was like a little kid at Christmas. There’s not much in the world that is sweeter than a groom thrilled by his bride.
Congrats Emily and Cameron! I hope y’all are getting settled into your next stage of life and enjoying every moment. Thanks so much for asking me to be such a big part of your sweet wedding day.
