Brett has known Matt’s family for… forever. As always, it is so fun to photograph people we know so well and this wedding was no different.
I think you could pretty well sum up Mellissa and Matt’s relationship in one word: personality. You can tell in these photos that we had a fabulous time taking photos together. One thing about Matt that I learned was that he’s not camera shy – which was great! He has been the most involved groom yet when it comes to having photo requests. Since Matt played football at UAB, he had a few out of the ordinary requests… mostly involving some way to include his athletic abilities. Of course, I was thrilled. We have plenty of “normal” photos of the wedding party… but who wants to see those on the blog?! Also, props to the very patient and very willing wedding party! We had some unusual requests and they were more than willing to accommodate!
Mellissa was the fun, sweet and collected Bride. The way these two compliment one another as a couple was evident throughout the day. Mellissa and Matt were so ready to be married and it was obvious they enjoyed every moment of their fun wedding day.
