Hi there! Welcome to the blog. It's the history of our time with couples and families during the days that they will one day treasure as the days that mattered most..
Several weeks ago, Brett and I had the privilege to photograph a Bat Mitzvah! We had a great time with everyone throughout the day. We started off the day with Avery’s Bat Mitzvah service in Columbus, MS. We were only there for photos at the end, but I heard that Avery did a great job. Next, we headed to the Columbus Arts Council for a luncheon for Avery’s friends and family. I had never been and enjoyed looking around at the photo exhibit they had up while we were there.
Later in the afternoon, we joined the family for a cookout followed by a fabulous dance party – glow sticks included. It is always so enjoyable to see Jr. High/Highschoolers having so much care-free fun. It seems like it was yesterday for me. I had to fight the urge to join in and dance with them. I’m sure no one would have noticed me and my camera all up in the middle of the dance floor, right? eh, well… I’m sure it was for the best that I stayed on the sidelines.
It was another fun day with happy people, great food, and good photos.
