Ivy and Braden were married a little over a week ago on a wintery day here in Alabama. “Wintery” as in: we actually had snow flurries! These two braved the cold for photos and I’m so glad they did. One of my favorite spots for the day was an amazing Saucer Magnolia tree that was in bloom at just the right time. I’m always thankful for those little gifts : )
Ivy and Braden’s wedding day has been almost eight years in the making! They have been dating since high school and they’re perhaps one of the most laid back couples ever. They just enjoy being together. Both of them had a sweet, quiet nervousness before the first look and were so excited to go through the day side by side once they met. All of Ivy’s details throughout the day seemed to have that same sweet elegance about them. Stunning flowers and soft ribbons were throughout the decor and I loved the natural colors she used. We had a great time with the wedding party as well and we certainly loved getting everyone busting their moves on the dance floor!
Thank y’all for allowing us to be there for such a lovely day!
^ We had some “spies” during the couple photo time ; ) I love Ivy’s reaction!^ These shots above and the one below are from our little hidden camera! I think it got some fun shots! I love being sneaky. ^ I love the detail on her cake and how it looks like the lace from Ivy’s wedding dress. Beautiful!^ Having graduated from Mississippi State, I answer the “Alabama or Auburn?” question with, “Mississippi State!” However, when cakes are involved, I’ll gladly be a fan of any team.
