Lauren and Chris were married at Mathews Manor a few weeks ago and it was our first time shooting there! I love being at new venues and finding all sorts of loveliness to capture. These two made our job fun and so very enjoyable. I couldn’t ask for a sweeter couple to be with on their big day! We started our day at Morgan Ashley Salon (yet another lovely place to shoot) and eventually made our way to Rebecca Gardens (great name, eh?!) later in the day for all of the festivities. The weather was great and thankfully all of the rain held off for all of the outside festivities! My favorite part of the day was seeing Chris (even after the first look) wiping tears from his eyes as he watched his about-to-be-bride walk down the isle. For anyone that thinks a first look might take away from the “grand entrance” I think you could ask Chris’ opinion on that. I do believe he was a man overcome with joy and love for his wife! What a pleasure it was to be there to capture those moments y’all : )
