Hi there! Welcome to the blog. It's the history of our time with couples and families during the days that they will one day treasure as the days that mattered most..

Hi, I'm REBECCA.

Hannah & Stephen | A Mississippi Wedding

June 18, 2012

I know I always talk about how much I love each wedding we do, but really… it’s true! It’s the day a husband and wife promise to love each other forever. Everyone looks fabulous and it’s the culmination of so much planning by so many people. I know it can sometimes be a stressful day, but it’s my goal for each couple to feel as loved and taken care of as possible on their first day as husband and wife. Even more so, I work hard to provide them with joy-filled memories through their wedding images. All my clients mean so much to me, and Stephen and Hannah are a photographer’s dream couple, making them more than easy to love.
I can’t remember when I first met Stephen. I do know that he was shorter than me at the time and Stephen is now 6′ 5″+ so I know it was quite a few years ago. : ) We “grew up” at the same church in jr. high/high school near Brandon, Mississippi (my hometown). There are so many stories that could be told but we’ll stick to the adorable wedding day! I loved getting to know Hannah and Stephen as a couple during their engagement session back in January. Hannah was all-smiles about the wedding then and as you can see, her joy only magnified on the wedding day. I loved the attention to detail that Hannah gave the entire wedding. Everywhere you looked there was some other beautiful way that she incorporated her navy and pink details. I think this might be a new favorite color combo for me!

^ Oh, hello AHHHmazing jewel-studded pink heels! ^ In love with these lashes! ^ Dad’s first sight of his little girl… now a bride. ^ The first look! Stephen was pretty pumped…^ Hannah’s dress from A Southern Affair was perfect on her^ Engraved cufflinks, a previous gift from Hannah ^ As I said, LOVE the navy and pink combo! Fresh Cut did the flowers and decor for the church and reception. Lovely!^ Our youth minister preformed the ceremony : ) So good to see some old friends at this wedding! ^ The barn at the Cotton Market Venue was perfect for some pre-reception photos^ Such cute Gator fans : )^ I loved their creative and tasty Cakes by Iris^ Get it? Clark bars for Mr. & Mrs. Clark? Perfect. ^ My favorite reception detail: ICEE’s!!!^ You could write a “prescription” for the perfect marriage. Such a fun idea for this little medical couple!^ Another fabulous detail. Hannah’s leaving dress was precious!^ Quite possibly my favorite idea for what to throw when you leave: confetti! Ahh!! I just love y’all : ) Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your perfect wedding day!
