Alex and Riette were married on a fabulous Saturday in Madison, Mississippi. If I remember correctly, they have been together since high school! They had cute photos from years passed all over the reception – how fun to have memories that go back to “the younger years.” They were actually married at the same church where my cousin and her husband exchanged vows a few years back. It is a beautiful church and has some nice places to take photos outside as well. As always, it was nice and TOASTY outside so we had to work quickly to get everything done before the wedding party started to melt.
The reception was held in downtown Jackson and was beautiful as well. I think my favorite part about the reception was the cakes! They looked amazing! I was able to try some of the groom’s cake and it tasted quite lovely as well. It was a fun night of dancing and we had a great time watching everyone enjoy themselves.
