Lauren and Clint were married on a lovely October afternoon in Hartselle, AL. Brett and I enjoyed the drive up to north Alabama that morning. We were able to enjoy the changing trees and the fabulous fall weather. What a joy it was to be part of this special day!
Lauren and Clint have been dating since high school. It’s about time they tied the knot! They were so calm and kind towards one another and I enjoyed seeing little glimpses of their sweet love appear throughout the day.  There are so many examples of these two serving each other on their special day, but my favorite by far came towards the end. As we were at the reception, I asked Clint if they were leaving in any kind of special car or if there was anything about their “leave” that I needed to  know. WELL, I was glad that I asked him… it turns out, he had secretly purchased his wife a new car! He told me the plan of how they would bring the car out, so I was ready for the reactions. The way it all worked out, Lauren at first thought that it was someone else’s car or a rental. She didn’t realize it was HER car until she was already in, waving goodbye, and Clint leaned in to let her know the surprise. Many tears and great facial expressions followed after…
