On the day of Brad and Lauren’s wedding… it rained… and poured. Then it rained some more. THANKFULLY about 15 minutes before Brett and I arrived at American Village, the sun came out!! Everyone was more than thankful for the clouds parting, especially the photographer : ) One thing that was rather different about this wedding was that Brett was the Best Man! That made our photo schedule quite a bit different than usual. We were extra prepared for the day and I was able to get a Samford student to come help me out for their wedding! Nick did a great job and captured some excellent moments throughout the afternoon. Another great help during the day was having the Marie Ami team there (thanks Neillie and Louise!). They were ON TOP of the day for sure. Props to Brett too for pulling triple duty, best man, third camera guy, and husband to the photographer – which is always a challenge in itself.
The details throughout the day were fabulous and the flowers were beautiful everywhere you looked. I think my favorite detail was the “snow” that they threw at their leave. It just looks so fun!
Brad and Lauren, thanks for letting me photograph your special wedding day : ) I had such a hard time choosing what photos to put up… but hopefully this will provide a peek at all of the fun that was had!!
