Oh Jamie and Luke… what a joy it’s been working with you two! I put their engagements on the blog just a few weeks ago, so you may remember these sweet faces. The day really was perfect and I loved having so much time with Jamie, Luke, and their wedding party to capture so many fun moments and details. I think one of my favorite moments from the day happened right after the first look when Luke went from being rather nervous to see his bride – straight to pure joy and excitement for the day ahead. I think his quote right after the first look went something along the lines of, “Gah… I feel so much better!” haha!
Of course, one of the most moving moments of the day was when Jamie’s little brother walked his beautiful sister down the isle to give her away, in memory of their father. It was important to Jamie and Luke to remember her father during their wedding day, and precious details throughout the day reflected their love and respect for her dad. From a sweet pendant for her bouquet, to the couple leaving in her dad’s old Jeepster, his legacy was felt by everyone in attendance.
Jamie and Luke, y’all are precious! Thank you for having us as a part of your awesome wedding. We loved every minute : )
^ Pink bridal shoes… love! ^ I loved Jamie’s up-do for the wedding day! It was not only beautiful, but perfect for a summer wedding in the South! ^ What a sweet momma. ^ Luke did quite well picking out a gift for his bride – look at Jamie’s sweet, new earrings! ^ I’m a fan of a white and green bridal bouquet. Just a touch of color… perfect. ^ I love this shot Brett got of Luke and Jake getting ready. Precious. ^ Eeee! I just adore this nervousness before the first look. Then the moment they see/hear the other – it’s all smiles from there! ^ I think Jamie liked her earrings… ^ These sweet pinks and greens were perfect for their summer wedding! ^ Jamie and Luke wanted to get married at the church where her parents exchanged vows years ago. Yet another special way to honor her father’s memory! It was truly lovely. ^ Oh sweet flower girl! One day mom and dad are going to have fun showing this off at her graduation or rehearsal I’m sure ; ) ^ A classic car to leave in? Don’t mind if you do… ^ So glad these two were up for a few more photos right before the reception! The light and scenery were beyond perfect. ^ Golf cake! Fun : ) ^ These girls looked awesome in their sweet pink bridesmaids dresses. Way to choose a great dress, Jamie! ^ Luke is such a golf fan… I had to include it as much as I could! ^ A good ole sparkler exit = perfect ending to a fabulous day. Thankful for those 4 minute sparklers!! ; ) ^ Love this car and adore this couple! Thanks y’all for being great together.
