We’ve had yet another eventful week around here. Thankfully, I’m finally getting this sweet blog post up for all to see!
Kimberly and Tyler were married right before Christmas in the wonderful city of Starkville, Mississippi, home of our alma mater, Mississippi State University. Also known as, God’s country : ) How we love to go back, especially for weddings! Brett and I were also married in Starkville, so it always brings back memories with each wedding we shoot there.
Kimberly and Tyler were so ready to become husband and wife! They were excited about the wedding day, but most of all, you could see they were excited about becoming husband and wife and celebrating God’s goodness in the sweetness of marriage. I don’t think the day could have gone any better. We were supposed to have all-day rain, but as you can see, we were given just the right amount of time for a rain break here and there for some adorable outside photos. I think one of my favorite parts of the day was when I asked these two if there was something they were most excited about for the day, and they both readily agreed – just being married. In the hustle and bustle of wedding planning it can so often be forgotten that the whole point is marriage. The wedding day is just the first day of so many years to come. These two were excited about the first day, but had prepared more (and rightly so) for the thousands of days to follow this one. Congrats you two and thank you for allowing us to be there beside you on day #1! It was perfect!
