I met with Amanda and James a while back to discuss their plans and ideas for their wedding day and I had such a good time watching them joke back and forth and talk about all they had dreamed up for the day. I must say, from what I could see, the day went perfectly according to planned! One of Amanda’s main hopes was for everyone to leave the wedding day “remembering purple!” And as you can see, I’m sure they did! Purple dresses, purple sashes, shoes, flowers, cake, lights – you name it. I must say, those eggplant purple bridesmaids dresses were so beautiful! One of my favorite dress colors still : )
Amanda and James’ wedding day was filled with the most relaxed and loving family and friends. Brett and I certainly felt the love as well – all day they were making sure WE were fed, comfortable, and appreciated. What a blessing it is to be involved in a wedding where we feel like family as well! You can see in so many of these photos that everyone was there to have a great time and celebrate these two becoming husband and wife. One of my favorite parts of the day was watching James cry… ahem… maybe weep?… as he laid eyes on his bride for the first time as she came down the isle. He was so filled with emotion and excitement the whole day and rarely did that smile leave his face!
We also loved working with some new and wonderful vendors! The reception took place at Blue Springs Manor and it was the first time we had been there but certainly hope to go back – what a fabulous little hidden gem of a place!
